What is forex trading?
Forex (foreign exchange) trading is buying one currency while selling another, with the aim of profiting from changes in exchange rates. It is the largest and most liquid financial market in the world.
When is the forex market open?
The forex market trades 24 hours a day, five days a week, from Sunday evening to Friday evening (GMT), moving through the Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York sessions.
What is a pip?
A pip is the standard unit for measuring price movement in a currency pair. For most pairs it is the fourth decimal place (0.0001); for pairs involving the Japanese yen it is the second decimal place (0.01).
What is leverage and how does it work?
Leverage lets you control a larger position with a smaller deposit, called margin. For example, with 1:100 leverage, $1,000 of margin controls a $100,000 position. Leverage magnifies both profits and losses, so it should be used with care.
What is the minimum deposit?
